Who We Are
Founded in 1994 by a group of wheelchair basketball rebels, we've always been about challenging the status quo.
Driven by a deep love for the sport, our mission has never changed: to honour the rich history of #WheelchairBasketball and celebrate the pioneers who paved the way. Our roots run deep, and we are committed to preserving the stories, achievements, and legacies that have shaped the game into what it is today.
Now, as a team of former international players, we’ve taken that mission further—documenting, preserving, and sharing the rich heritage of the sport we love. We dig into the archives to recover classic games, and through our weekly podcasts, we bring these moments back to life with insightful conversations about wheelchair basketball and wider sporting topics.
Our mission is clear:
Preserve the history. Celebrate the progression. Grow the game.
We proudly curate and showcase our Hall of Fame and Wall of Fame, honouring the UK’s wheelchair basketball greats from the last seven decades. We know that without the trailblazers, the sport wouldn’t be where it is today—and their stories deserve to be told.
We also conduct in-depth interviews with legends of the game, capturing their journeys, experiences, and impact on the sport. All of our content is freely available on our YouTube channel, where our growing video library includes classic matches and highlights spanning the last 50 years—ensuring the spirit and legacy of wheelchair basketball live on.
Join us as we continue to honour the past, inspire the future, and elevate the sport at every opportunity.

In 1997, Jon captained the Great Britain Under-21 team at the IWBF World Championships, quickly establishing himself as a rising star. That same year, he earned his first senior cap at the European Championships in Madrid, where Great Britain secured a silver medal. At just 20 years old, JP was already making an impact at both junior and senior levels.
Jon went on to represent Great Britain at four consecutive Paralympic Games—Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, and London 2012—claiming bronze medals in both Athens and Beijing, where he also captained the team. He retired in 2012, after 20 years of representing his country with pride and professionalism, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire the next generation of athletes.
